Hi, I’m Latasha!
Retired Air Force vet, wife, proud parent, and homeschool mama of a brilliantly wired son.
I created Raising My Wired King to share real-life wins, resources, and encouragement for families raising neurodivergent black kids with love, purpose, and faith.
Here, we do life differently; and that’s where the magic lives.
This is my son, Croix: The mind behind Raising My Wired King.
He’s full of curiosity, strength, and imagination. While dinosaurs light up his world, so does movement, singing, sensory play, and the magic of learning in his own way!
He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of 4. He may not always learn the “traditional” way, but he learns with heart, rhythm, and purpose. Every moment, whether it’s counting to 100, identifying a state, or simply advocating for ice cream—is a win we celebrate!
He’s the reminder that there’s power in doing things differently! And through his journey, we’re building a new kind of legacy—one rooted in love, culture, and learning on his terms.
